Sweet Music Man – The Ultimate Tribute to KENNY ROGERS
“SWEET MUSIC MAN” with Special Guest Nashville Recording Artist PAM FERENS is a must see for any Kenny Rogers fans! Marty Edwards, A.K.A. “Kinda Kenny” has been seen on “CNN”, the “Oprah Winfrey” show, the “Jay Leno Tonight Show”, and numerous TV shows in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and the UK.
Marty Edwards has been entertaining fans since the early 1970’s. He started his musical career as a lead vocalist and guitarist for a popular three-piece country band, performing some of Kenny Rogers’ songs, but not as an impersonator.
In 1998 Marty organized and produced a benefit show called Put A Little Love In Your Heart, to raise money to help abused children. Marty debuted his tribute to Kenny Rogers as a one-time only “fill-in” performance at this first benefit concert. The benefit has raised thousands of dollars to help abused children, and Marty’s “one-time only” performance was so well received, it became a permanent fixture at the annual benefit.
Since that first performance in 1998, “Kinda Kenny”, Marty has performed his critically acclaimed Kenny Rogers tribute to sold-out audiences in 9 countries on 4 continents. Edwards has toured with the world-famous “Legends of Rock ‘n’ Roll”, “Legends Alive!“, “Superstars of Country”, “Country Music USA”, and “Super Stars in Concert” troupes.
His resemblance to the country music legend is uncanny. Marty had the pleasure of meeting Kenny in Billings, MT. When Marty was leaving, remarking on the likeness, Kenny Rogers said to Marty “Now don’t go and get me into any trouble!”.
The LOOK, the SOUND, the MANNERISMS – It’s all KENNY ROGERS!

Jeff Bodner is a seasoned performer who has been singing for 60 years. He started singing in Church with his Mum at the age of 5, similar to the way Elvis started to enjoy music. In Grade One Jeff’s class performed on a live Televised Choir song of Do You Hear What I Hear where Jeff sang one verse Solo. During his grade school years Jeff competed in and won many community talent shows.
From April 1982 to September 2012 Jeff served a 30+ Year career in the R.C.M.P. During his time in the Force Jeff competed in Saskatchewan Talent shows and searches and also entertained in several communities for weddings, graduations and even Celebrations of Life.
Jeff was first on stage with his Elvis Presley Tribute in 1989 with Sakatchewan’s Telemiracle. It was only one song, (Stuck On You), but with the television audience of just over One Million viewers it was a memorable experience! It was a Great Honour to be introduced that night by the late Great Bobby Curtola!
Later that year Jeff was asked to provide music for his young
daughters Figure Skating club, which started his Journey as an Elvis Presley Tribute Artist or ETA! From 1989 through to 1999 Jeff performed his Elvis Act several times throughout Western Canada. In 2000 Jeff began his competitive foray into the ETA World and was successful in winning an Amateur World title in 2003 and a Pro Title at the Penticton
Elvis Competition in 2007. Jeff competed in Memphis several times and gained much from the experience. Also in 2000 Jeff became a key performer for the Peach City Beach Cruise and has been here every year, except 2008, due to a motorcycle crash while enroute to Penticton.
In 2002 Jeff, along with 3 other Mounties climbed Mt KILIMANJARO in Tanzania, Africa to raise funds for B.C. Children’s Hospital. Raising just over $18,000 that first year it has become a yearly donation by P.C.B.C. in Jeff’s name to the B.C. Children’s Hospital.
